MDI Consulting believes that the main goal of any Maximo project is the satisfaction of the customer by completing the project on time and on budget as it was bid. Since we do not have hundreds of consultants and lots of overhead, we can provide very specific skills of qualified resources ONLY when they are needed. This means that you will have an on site Project Manager that provides direction, product knowledge and the overall management of the project bringing people to the project for brief periods of time to perform certain tasks in order of importance. What this means for you is daily management on site and paying only for the resources required on an as needed basis. For example, you may require 10 new Actuate reports so we bring a professional report programmer on site to gather the requirements from your users, develop, test and implement the reports in a short period of time and then roll him/her off the project. The same method will be used for data conversion tasks, interface tasks, testing and training tasks and so on. You pay for resources for brief periods of time only as needed. We call this "Smart Project Management" and the way all software projects should be run. No gouging the customer just to make as much money as possible with unnecessary people wandering around.
